De StingRay 5 neck through serie basgitaren bieden veel van dezelfde geweldige functies als hun bolt on voorgangers, met een meer resonante constructie en superieure hoge register fret toegang. De neck through StingRay 5 beschikt over een esdoorn hals uit 3 delen door een ash body met een palissander fretboard voor veel sustain en een soepel, solide gevoel. De nieuw ontworpen preamp biedt een volledige en robuuste tonaliteit met behoud van een uitstekende helderheid en scherpe attack.
