De JP BFR heeft een body in elzenhout en een Afrikaans mahoniehouten toonblok met een maple top. Hondurese mahonie hals met East Indian Palissander toets. De JP BFR wordt aangedreven door Dimarzio Liquifire & Crunchlab pickups, een piëzo brugsysteem en een coil splitting tone pot. Verkrijgbaar met 6 of 7 snaren met Music Man JP tremolo, 3-way Toggle pickup selector en Music Man hardshell case. *Koa optie omvat mahonie body en hals met een ebben toets en gouden hardware.
