De Ernie Ball Music Man short-scale StingRay bass biedt een big thumpy round sound in een handige en kleinere verpakking. Een 30” scale laat een gemakkelijkere bespeelbaarheid toe door de kortere spacing tussen de frets. De Ernie Ball Music Man humbucking pickup, voorzien van higher output neodymium magneten, is speciaal ontworden voor de short scale bass, en zorgt voor z'n signature warme tone. De elektronica bevat een 3-way rotary switch met parallel, true single-coil, en series modes. Net zoals z'n grote broer, de StingRay Special, komt de short scale in standard versie met een modern classic bridge, 22 stainless steel frets, en nieuwe lichte Music Man tuning machines met een fijnere gear ratio.

The new and improved Short Scale StingRay electronics feature powerful neodymium magnets, bringing you more output and a wider range of sounds
The electronics package includes a 3-way rotary switch featuring parallel, true single-coil, and series modes. All three pickup selections’ audio signals can be augmented by a boost when engaging the push volume pot.
