Het JPX model viert de 10e verjaardag van de John Petrucci signature reeks van Music Man. Met een drietal premium klankhoutsoorten, waaronder mahonie, esdoorn en els, een body met kamers voor superieure resonantie, en een 5-way blade switch voor eenvoudige toegang tot humbucking en split coil tonen. De JPX is comfortabel en een lichtgewicht en is een opvallend instrument met vele krachtige opties, waaronder een piëzo brugsysteem voor weelderige akoestische tonen, aangepaste Dimarzio elektronica en een verlengde lagere horn recess voor ongeëvenaarde toegang tot de bovenste frets.
