De Luke III heeft een body in elzenhout, een hard rock gebrande esdoorn hals met East Indian Palissander fingerboard. De LIII wordt aangedreven door Dimarzio passieve humbuckers en custom voiced single coil pickups. Music Man zwevende vintage tremolo met soepele actie, 5-way pickup selector en 12db instelbare actieve boost geven de Luke 3 een verscheidenheid aan klankcombinaties die geschikt zijn voor elke muziekstijl.
