De Caprice, nog een welkome nieuwkomer in de Modern Classic familie, is een gedurfd nieuw statement in passief design. Een werkpaard bas die in staat is om twee verschillende pickupgeluiden met een verscheidenheid aan tonen te combineren die geschikt zijn voor elke muzikale omgeving. Dit compacte offset ontwerp zorgt voor een body vorm die comfortabel en uitgebalanceerd is, samen met een slank halsprofiel dat maakt dat deze bas een plezier is om op te spelen. De bovenste brug is gemaakt van gehard staal en wordt aangevuld door een nieuw ontworpen oversized headstock met de vertrouwde 3 + 1 tuner opstelling. Net als bij de Cutlass is de Caprice een slanke moderne basgitaar met vintage functies die trouw blijven aan de erfenis van de Music Man.
