De neck through serie van StingRay biedt veel van dezelfde geweldige functies als zijn bolt on voorgangers met een meer resonante constructie en superieure toegang tot hoge registerlijsten. De neck through basgitaren hebben een esdoorn hals uit 3 delen en een body van essenhout met een palissander fretboard voor veel sustain en een zacht, solide gevoel. De nieuw ontworpen preamp biedt een volledige en robuuste tonaliteit met behoud van een uitstekende helderheid en scherpe attack.
