De Axis Super Sport semi-hollow bouwt voort op de vertrouwde aspecten van het massieve Axis Super Sport door aan beide zijden 2 kamers, aan beide kanten van de pickups, toe te voegen en een aantrekkelijk "M" soundhole aan de bovenkant. De tonewood / pickup combinatie is exact afgestemd op de Axis en Super Sport modellen en is perfect geschikt voor hardrock tonen, maar kan ook een subtiel dynamisch stemgeluid leveren bij lagere volumeniveaus. Het resultaat is een resonerende en lichtere gitaar met zachte dieptepunten, luchtige hoogtepunten en een zeer responsieve attack.
