De 2018 Cutlass RS HSS heeft een gloednieuwe roasted figured maple hals met palissander of esdoorn fingerboard (fingerboard optie is afhankelijk van de kleur van het lichaam). Het RS HSS model behoudt alle bekende elementen van de originele Cutlass, waaronder een elzenhouten body, super smooth moderne tremolo en oversized 4 over 2 kop. De brug pickup in de HSS is een custom wound keramische humbucker van Music Man met een vintage geluid dat de single coils complimenteerd en toch veel knapperige ritmes en bijtende lead tones heeft. Ook nieuw voor 2018 zijn twee nieuwe afwerkingsopties: Firemist Silver met esdoorn fretboard en Stealth Black met ebben fretboard en matzwart afgewerkte esdoorn hals.

The Cutlass RS guitar features a perfectly balanced, double-cutaway body design that allows unparalleled access to all 22 stainless steel frets. The roasted maple neck with a custom “V” to “C” neck carve provides an ultra-comfortable playing experience.
The Cutlass neck shape begins with a soft “V” profile from the 1st through 5th fret and transitions to a comfortable “C” profile to the neck's heel at the 22nd fret.
Proprietary humbucking and single coil pickups are custom-designed for the Cutlass RS guitar.
Custom finishes come with either black or chrome hardware, including tremolo and Schaller locking tuning machines.
Hand-selected body and neck woods are sustainably sourced from our network of hardwood suppliers worldwide. Alder roasted maple and rosewood tonewoods are individually chosen and matched for their beautiful appearance and rich tonal qualities.
